what to do with $300k for 12 mths?

This issue is real. I have just sold my house and have $300k for 12 months until I buy another.

Looking for some serious suggestions what to do with it.

I am an aggressive risk taker, but on this one
want low to moderate risk.
Return must be higher than bank interest.

I have thought of a 3 dividend play on a blue chip paying 5% yield.

Any one with a worthy idea? I am open minded, but would still like to buy the house in 12 months time (ie dont want to have half of it left.....)
