jojo - I share your view about the upside. You make reference to AQP who were the subject of a rumour earlier this week in London that they were being stalked by Xtrata. Normally such rumours trigger a small rise in the share price but not a flicker in this case. With Pt pushing strongly through $2000 again I am surprised that PGM miners are not better supported.
Granted, bearishness and possible reduced demand are overshadowing all markets at the moment. Equally Eskom are effectively warning that supply will be decreasing on the back of their constraints. Up goes the commodity price. This can only make miners (who can produce whatever Eskom do with the power supply) seem more undervalued.
Not long to wait for Panton BFS and Smokey Hills commissioning now.
