Yes, it appears that SLR is a bit toppy, especially when remembers that half of next several years production is hedged at A$1732/oz ..... so calculations based on A$2000 POG are incorrect. But, if there are more rabbits in SLR's hat, then maybe higher valuations are valid. The M&A value of SLR, particularly a scrip funded offer, that would enable a SLR senior partner to utilise SLR's carry forward tax losses (+ cash reserves) remains IMHO. A shoutout to Pezsaz who predicted $1.20 in 2018 .... his prediction got tremendous support from POG surge secondary to Trumps 2020 campaign .... if the POG seriously retraces then SLR will struggle to hold 100c support IMHO. Also, once insto's have completed their rebalance a lot of SLR buy support will moderate. Only further M&A can catapult SLR into a higher category which would setoff another rebalance, as production form their plants appears to be maximal .... or am I missing something? For those wanting a mea culpa about my attitude to the BOD .... nah.
Cool Hand has been the difference, the rest of the BOD are well paid passengers. As there still is not the slightest hint of SLR being a dividend stock in the foreseeable future, one has to trade the stock to cover the risk of holding the stock long term. I am intent in selling the rest of my holding after Diggers & Dealers or after any major price surge event.
