Tuesday June 25 - Purple Rain

SPI Futures traded in a small 23 point range last night, with a high of 6598, low of 6575, and a close this morning of 6579, down 14 points, on very low volume of 5,403 contracts. Based on that small range, my pivot point and R and S levels are below, however, I will be watching S6 and R6 very carefully today owing to the small range last night. Gaps from last night up at 6583 and 6584, then up at 6600, 6604, 6608, 6621, 6632 and 6633, and down at 6541, 6538, 6526, 6523, 6509, 6508, 6599, 6493, 6475 and 6474. New economic sanctions (an oxymoron if I ever heard one) against Iran, but the sun still came up this morning. G20 starting at the end of the week, coinciding with our end of financial year. DOW up .03 pct, SNP down .17 pct and Canada (resource driven) down just .01 pct. VIX down .91 pct to 15.26, bucking the inverse correlation.  Have a nice day.



Today in 1984, Prince released his "Purple Rain" album which was also the soundtrack to the 1984 film of the same name. The song won Prince a 1984 Grammy award. He didn't listen to my suggestion on the lyrics, but probably a good job, as he might have got the Granny award, not the Grammy award.
