Rio are probably taking a close look at their diamond mines,Argyle,Diavik and their is also a smaller one in Africa.You might see the for sale sign put on them yet.The Argyle underground developement has had major cost blowouts,by around 700million dollars at last audit.The plant maintanence has been put on the backburner and the whole project is marginal to say the least.Believe me the diamond business is not lucrative as one might think.I think Kev would realise this,the real money is in iron ore the grades of that stuff are a lot more reliable than diamond quality.
One thing though dabbling in diamonds is a great hobby.
