Choko's are back in favour? They grow like weeds and produce those awful things that taste like?... well, nothing really. They're so bland.
During the fifties and sixties they were growing everywhere - especially over out house walls.
The only good thing about them is that they can be cooked, and preserved in a syrup mix. They then taste like canned pears.
Years ago we were afflicted by a person designated to be our "Team Leader". Problem was he had absolutely no leadership skills and everybody reckoned he couldn't lead a choko vine over a shithouse wall.
