You might be right on putting on the back burner...but I should have though that the best option would be to really get that running asap. The 10% royalty on profits of the diamonds is never going to amount to significant cash flow...the copper opoortunity has been canvassed greatly. I wonder about that being up and running by 2009, I expect late 2010 is more likely.

Copper has huge upside both in terms of the very under explored tenements and the price long term. CRU reports make this a great commodity to kick off with and they plan to go through to Copper Cathode so getting most of the price - with Outokumpo already negotiating long term off take contracts, augers well IMO.

What is not clear to me though is the exact position of direct benefit to CVI odf the Oil leases? Can someone spell that out please?
