what does what you postulated has to do with the "truth" ? What truth is that ?
the fact of the matter is, there are people who choose to buy cheaper imported goods, be they made in China, Japan, India, or some other countries. Essentially, it is demand and supply market that Australia and a major part of the world have.. If there is no demand for imported goods, there will be no imported goods. Similarly, if there are no demands in other countries for Australian exports, we won't have an export industry.
You decide to buy some locally made work boots, good on you, and it was your personal choice. Who is to say your choice is better than other people's ?
