I'd say BB is certainly gunning for an epic project, and a new team potentially so he can sell or reduce his 22m shares and leave this roller coaster behind!
as for the SP volatility and volume, who TF knows. Anything from paid pump service, broker traders following the initial volume / rumour and piling in, algo momentum trading, general market hype, all of the above.
