I put this on the board the other day but not much response.
Maybe an audience with a bit more time today..

    Can anyone help ??

I am currently (was) using Microsoft Money '98 for my accounting on my shares - mainly SMSF.

I have encountered corrupt files and my old backup versions seem to have picked up the problem although they were created before the problem existed so consequently I can't use Money.

I've been looking on internet for a fix but it's time consuming and a fix would cost a fair bit so I'm thinking of replacing Money '98 and starting afresh with the new tax year.

I am looking at what options I have with what's available and would appreciate feedback from other users of say Money 2008, Quicken and MYOB - and which packages they use, how user friendly and comprehensive etc.

I use it for the accounting side by entering buys/sells, dividends to produce reports for my own use and the accountant, enter month figures to keep track of how things are going, showing performance and values for separate accounts.
I don't use it for budgeting, forecasting, nor trading.

    Any info would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Fletch
