I'm not as convinced we need a single big macro event/shock news like that @ClockworkSmurf or that it will help.

You could kind of argue we've had big macro news events along those lines already. All the big auto makers, from across the globe, have come out and been very direct that they are all in on EVs. We know the chemistry is being locked in across gigafactories, we know batteries are the bottleneck to EV growth. There are countless stories around this that haven't shifted market sentiment.

Another just for fun, news here on a Tesla skunkworks project to build their own batteries, the industries worst kept secret. Comes not long after they identify metal supply as the looming bottleneck.

I think resolving the trade war will have a significant impact - its been a drag on metal pricing, and part of the reason why metal prices have diverged so hard from where they need to be, to support EV supply chain investment.

Other than that, its all about the strategic partner
