I disagree with most of what Putin is saying.

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence to many basic people thus the rise of so-called "populism". The populists will sadly have to take us through a major, long term global recession/ depression before many voters realise what they have done. At that point they will return to centrist politics.

North Korea - I tend to agree with Putin but Kim also needs to adhere to diplomatic and basic behavioural norms. I don't know what the Trump visit to the DMZ is trying to achieve. The whole thing is messed up and I would hold all of the major parties involved in this to account along with Kim.

Spies? Treason? Salisbury? I have interpreted the comment in a way that you could not openly agree with. I get it that Russia will in future adhere to normally accepted behaviour. I accept that Russia sees the bigger picture and seeks to re-establish normal relations with the UK.

Syria? I could discuss a federal model forever of course. The US, Russia, UK, Canada and Australia are all federations. If the model can be friggin well applied then it should be applied with or preferably without Assad and the stupidity of Iran and Turkey. Then we can all move on.

Venezuela. I disagree with the actions of both Putin and Trump. What more can I say beyond an observation that Putin always outmanoeuvres Trump. Even Erdogan can outmanoeuvre Trump.

Nuclear Arms Race. Russia should ignore Trump and adhere to the treaties on a unilateral basis.

Trade War - Well this is what happens when populists rather than "liberals" are elected. The madness will lead to ruin. Putin is inconsistent on this front because you cant have it both ways.

    cheers
