Just beacause it's easy, doesn't mean it makes sense. I think expressing hatred for said institutions\legal entities\companies is an indication that someone has run out of ideas in the hunt for someone to blame.
Ever seen a bank express hatred? Hating a bank is like hating a piece of paper, it has no emotions, no thoughts, no feelings, it's a corporation. Any decisions you didn't/don't like were made by real people, not some faceless entity. If you hate a bank, you hate its employees.
