"Far on the other hand wanted to Pre-empt"

Incorrect FAR wants the opportunity to PE after having seen what they believe to be a valid PE notice.

If I was a CNE holder I know what I'd think.

The SNE PE situation has always been non other than an arbitrage opportunity.

If Simon wasn't able to see a "buck" to be made then I would certainly be questioning his suitability in this industry.
Remember that FAR don't have to PE. Merely reserve the right to if they like what they see, and are able to do a deal.
    Simon didn't do this?
Irrespective of whether FAR prevails, CN looks a lot smarter than him at this point.
Unless you see no value to FAR in a PE win.
Perhaps Simon can go out and buy a resource like SNE any old day for $2.25 bbl?
Or likewise WPL. Which would mean PC doesn't care whether SNE comes or goes.
Not the message I'm getting from PC.

So while you have a strong opinion as regards CN should FAR not prevail, you seem to have a much more benign opinion of Simon, and CNE doesn't even have a chair at the table.
Fair enough, each to their own, however to me, it doesn't seem particularly consistent!

Stooges, WPL brigade and hired help not parting me from my holding.

    Welded on
