Well I agree that China and India is a long term story (and my portfolio is built accordingly) which is great for the resource states...but I do think we can see (and are already seeing) a two paced economy where most are really struggling but certain sectors power on. What does that mean for property prices in those states left behind? I don't know.
Good discussion passive, lord elpus etc...my thoughts aren't set in stone, sometimes I post and even contradict myself but it helps my thought process, so hotcopper is great for me, to hopefully arrive at the right strategy...eventually.
Do want a property in next year or two as owner-occupier but timing it nicely would be a bonus. I can't see much urgency to get set in the next year or so, the news coming from US and UK is quite disturbing and even if things are much better here, there is always some contagion.
