PTW The Norwegians I know are delighted with the the way EVs are going and extremely proud of what the government are doing in this field,The progressive Norjies are talking about AIR TRAVEL BEING ELECTRIFIED as a given, something I thought was madness but was shocked to see how advanced it is, I looked into it and now agree it is inevitable particularly now the first commercial orders have been placed for electric aircraft. However fully 35% of Norwegians would prefer still Ice to Ev when purchasing a new one
We do appreciate there are differences opinion,I still come across people in Perth who are not happy with computers and hence have no email and internet and there are still folk in the States who have no car but have a horse and buggy- just less and less every year.
Also understand that people in Oand G feel threatened by the avalanche facing them.My mechanic is extremly anti EVs but i am sure subconciously he feels threatened by them.it is human nature.He is a good bloke and we get along on most things but disagree on EVs
A short 2 decades ago as someone who was a smoker and indirectly involved in the tobacco industry I thought this nonsense about the dangers of tobacco was completly overcooked .I changed on both counts.Wasnt easy and took time but it happened and I will put money on the fact that given 10 years most of your Norjies will have changed their minds but probably not all of them
