The stock market is a MARKET where sellers and buyers compete with each other to get the best price.
If the sellers (companies)want to sell at a higher price they have to use tactics such as salesmen use. They have to persuade the buyer (shareholders) that their company is a better and more worthwhile investment than all the others in the market.
I believe that ctindale is trying to say that the shareholders need to feel an excitement and involvement in their company that differentiates it from other companies that are selling similar wares in the market place.
It's great having great technology, fantastic future, top people , assets etc but if you can't convey that to the buyers it is worth little.
It is a good thread and discussion and I hope we have more of it.
