People can protest the government all they like about he money they spend. However to attack a religion and the followers is criminal, immature and could be viewed as denying the rights of the followers to freedom to practise without fear. The government has a responsibility to ensure they are free to particpate in religous festivals.

I do however think Sydney people should stop with the me, me, me mindset and everything about money. I never understood why we had to have so much money spent on sporting arenas but tis the religion of many. Like no such protest at the money spent on horse racing industry after equine flu episode.??? Odd.
