MC of $888m is pretty reasonable, despite being a long way from where it was.
Any takeover would look at the numbers from the DFS/ business cases and then discount accordingly. There's plenty of room to move.
I'd say that in this environment, a TO valuing PLS at A$1.5 - $1.6b would have a great chance of succeeding. It would be seen as a win/win for both predator and prey.
