As for your demands on disclosure from WP, I have posted on that many times.

I think they were aware of early results and didn't think it was a trend. In other words, they thought those results weren't representative of what was coming.

The reasons for that I speculate they thought that purchasers would be rational.

This is an entirely understandable position to take.
