I took a similar approach. Sold down half and invested that with a series of smaller stakes in 'battery/REE' companies I have been watching for a while. A nickel/cobalt play and vanadium play at all time lows and a top-up of a larger gold/REE holding. Easy enough to work out which ones from my signature. I still think copper is the place to be but not that many equivalents to MOD to choose from. Have a OZL stake in super so some exposure there.
The balance I will let roll into Sandfire shares and see what they can do with the MOD holding and their cash/mining experience. I was hoping for a better counter offer but that seems less likely now as time goes on. Very curious to see what came of the exploration drilling MOD were undertaking before the buyout.
