H, last nights ISM numbers although not conclusive is encouraging and goes to show the US economy is not falling off a cliff as the talking heads would have you believe. I rekon a large amount of the negative sentiment is being created by the media who will go to any length to sensationalize things. The other force creating the negative sentiments are those rotten analysts. I mean take GS, they come out last week, 15 months after the subprime crap surfaced, telling people to short Citi when the stock has already plunged from $55 to $18. Very irresponsible esp when market was close to support levels.
