Hi guys - interesting day hey?

Went back to 18/6 announcement of drilling commencement and had a good read. Found this section quite interesting and somewhat positive in light of todays TH.

" While Roc South is both geographically closerto and of similar depth to the Roc discovery (10km to North and 150 metres shallower) compared to the Dorado discovery (15 km to the southwest, 350 metres deeper), seismic interpretation strongly suggests theCaley reservoir will be more similar to Dorado than Roc."


"The deeper objectives in the Baxter, Crespin and Milne appear to be present at the Roc South location andfrom seismic analysis of amplitude response appear to be thicker and better developed compared to Dorado, albeit the depth may have a slight impact on reservoir quality.The discovery of hydrocarbons in the Dorado-1 and Dorado-2 wells has proven that the sealing mechanismsare adequate in this type of environment and de-risks the likely presence of hydrocarbons in the targetedformations in the Roc South-1 well."

Who else thinks the section looks alot like the Dorado section? So if the sands are thicker yet may not be as good quality than Dorado would that result in similar recoverability? (ie - less porous and permeable but overall thicker hence a bigger reservoir?)

I feel like we are in a fish bowl now with heaps of people looking in and Gotta standing by the glass pointing and laughing saying "You were warned" lol.

Lets hope they aren't now the ones laughing with a positive ann to come!
