I can remember in the past having asked management why Navistar seatbelts had not been announced. The answer was pretty simple: We are trying to get in through their supplier. At the time this was a bit dissapointing. Later on it became clear that TZ was aiming at the world market of seatbelts, not only Navistar. They were talking to a Japanese company. The number one seatbelt supplier in the world turned out to be a Japanese company.
Reading todays announcement of an automotive Tier One supplier that has issued a purchase order is incredible.
I remember in the past HC followers writing about so many schoolbuses with so many seats translating into revenues and profits. But now we are talking about seatbelts in any vehicle in the world. This might become the biggest purchase order sofar.
