It's all well and good saying cut your losses short but the reality for CVN is that the overriding story has not changed. They have a significant oil find that in time as it stands will produce good income. So whilst you are lamenting your loss it may be significant to ask yourself why you got into the trade in the first place. Because the reality is nothing has changed. WE may be seeing another opportunity to buy in. Everyone has different reasons for being invested. Why were you? Ed Seykota was more a futures trader trading with leverage. Cutting losses in that fast paced market is key. The markets these days have bots and algos always looking to take investors out of their positions. If you have stop losses in the market they will get hit. For every rule in the market their is a time to break that rule. And do your due diligence.
