It seems that the market has not yet woken up to the diversity and scale of THC's genuinely international, if not yet global, operations.The Southport facility alone puts THC way ahead of any other Australian medical cannabis company, and it is unlikely that any of our competitors will have a facility with anywhere near Southport's capacity and capabilities in the next few years.

But Southport is just one string in THC's bow. They are already generating revenue in Canada, Australia and probably New Zealand, they have two licensed cultivation facilities in Queensland and another under construction in Nova Scotia, two licensed R & D and manufacturing plants in Queensland, a well-established hydroponics business In Canada, and partnerships in place or being negotiated with companies in Europe, Malaysia and New Zealand, and probably other Asia-Pacific countries.

As THC have the only manufacturing and R & D facility with the capacity and the equipment, plus the licences and GMP certification which other MC companies in this region are going to need to have access to, we can expect rapidly growing contract work and supply agreements through Southport, not just of oils and resins, but also Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient medicines, and probably Finished Dose Products, and I would also expect that terpene production will become a profitable sideline in due course.

We already have R & D work and product development being conducted at Southport with Eve and Meluka Honey, and although this is an important start in putting the Southport plant to good use, we can expect to see more and more of these partnership and contract arrangements during the current financial year and beyond.

Just compare THC's assets and prospects with a company like AGH, who just have a patients list in Australia and a small number of patients in the UK, and a cultivation and manufacturing facility under construction in Victoria. THC's market cap - $57M, AGH's market cap - $212M.

I know where I would prefer to put my money.
