I was thinking Chatree would have $0 resale value. Since if the Thai gov is forced to payout in court for misappropriation, then that would mean they can effectively appropriate it with no further legal issues to worry about. Why pay out and then allow the company to mine or sell the asset? It sounds very unlikely. They would be seeking retribution in any way possible, and if forced to pay out, then cutting tied with the company would be the bare minimum.
Unless the payout was relatively small, like some compensation for the shutdown period and reopening only, then they could allow mining or a sale.
