Disturbing amount of support for oil at 144 - looks to be forming an intra-day bottom. Its the persistent oil rallies that kill stocks at the end of each day.
Trichet saying the oil price was all demand driven did not help things.
Maybe the US should release their strategic reserve just to flatten all theories about demand/speculation. Its been done before.
