I did see something on the news the other night, it was on oil in the middle east.
Regarding high oil prices and that the US had been doing so many trips over to Saudi to try to get them to increase production to lower the oil price. 500,000 barrels of oil per day.
And the US had returned on all occasions with the same answer. No we will not increase.
Now attention is turning to alternate fuels as the price climbs and that most people feel that if they are going to be paying high prices why not use alternate energy sources which are more enviro friendly.
Returning back to the news article now, is was said that.... Saudi had now agreed to increase production not 500,000 barrels of oil but 10,000,000 barrels of oil per day. As they have a completely new oil feild coming on line and that they are scared that we will change to alternate fuels and it would be harder to sell there oil.
This is a summary of what was said. It was an article on the news, current affair, or 60 min, i only caught the end of it but it sounded good. But since the have heard nothing else.
Did Anyone else out there hear or see this??? And if So are there any more updates on this???
Regards
