I suspect that any one month's Smithfield result will not be of much use. Usage will be highly volatile, as mentioned by posters here. Also, it could vary greatly by time of year, and when there are outages such as is happening more frequently with older coal fired plants.
As Ash says, a quarterly would be a better indicator,m but I suspect annual results will be more indicative.
