...we sell the chip to the vendor
.....they integrate the chip into their products...
so..if they want to add a little inline solar panel to power they chip that would be a vendor integration modification design decision...
not really anything to do with BRN's primary focus.
however....BRN is just making it super easy to allow vendors to implement this kind of thing / make this kind of thing to happen, due to such a low power requirement of the chip.
