That is, the normal rules about keeping the market informed apply.
Please check them.

For instance, these are subject to balancing commercial in confidence information and other considerations.
It's a judgement call whether to release information. It's not black and white even under normal conditions.

But in Hotcopper posters routinely have a judgement and play jury when by definition they don't have all the facts.
They cannot!

Making assumptions is what speculation is all about. But do try to make them reasonable.
Keep in mind what reasonable explanations might exist.

For instance, when negotiations are under way. If a company has advised it's strategy, and that they would seek to find partners and funding etc. then it's reasonable to assume that's what they're doing. If they're no longer doing it, then they would have to advise the market.
This is simple to understand but fear seems to overtake logic at times.
