A Welcome to Country is just showing the good manners your mum and dad taught you. A plain, simple courtesy and acknowledgement. It costs almost nothing to give, but creates division when taken away.
Hopefully someone can explain that to the British and Southern African expats on this site who lecture us 24/7 on what it means to be Australian. They just don't get it. Never will.
