Last year's GDP was about $21 trillion, GDP growth is around 2-3%, unemployment is around 3.6%, not too much inflation and no deflation.

I think that's what's called a goldilocks economy. Goldbugs live in alternative universe of economic ruin, crashes, World War 3, nuclear attacks, fiat money destruction, Dow 5,000, and of course, gold US$50,000.
