It was simply a Charting software formula for going long.
If you are aware of the Turtles
they were highly succesful usinga similar formula for a good while. plenty of info on the Web.. they did go bust.
The Guru Technical Analyst in OZ is John Rowland he contributes to many stock forums.as "Tech/a"
The best was Reefcap (now closed)he used a trading system using the formula I put up,He posted his trades and included detailed money management, position sizes, sells etc over a long period of back testing. It was as far as I know the best Public TA thread on the Web.. I used it to dispel TA critics.
