If you think about it as simply as this, yes the competitors at the edge will come but if their solutions are CNN based then they will only be a competitor to BRN in a specific use case since the application needs to be trained so much upfront and then if the use case changes even slightly, retrained the same amount. Whereas BRN has a general solution with Akida that can be applied to a seemingly endless number of use cases and if any of those use cases change it probably doesn’t matter because Akida will learn and continue to adapt to variation. And lookout if Akida2 to has both feed-forward and feed-back mechanisms then it will be able to extrapolate from the learning being done perhaps even be able to anticipate a future sequence of events of some kind - won’t that be something.
