"Yes, Jesus is not the Creator. He is the first and only thing God created directly. All other things were created ''through'' Jesus, not 'by' Jesus."
Psa 33:6 - By the word of the LORD were the heavens made;and (THEN)-->all the host of them by the breath of his mouth. So clearly,...... Jesus was not the first created, as the havens were. If Jesus pre-existed, he wpuld have been one of the hosts.
The following along with numerous other verses not listed, clearly shows that there is no way that God literally created anything directly through Jesus or gave Jesus the power to create prior to his appearance, birth etc.
Psa 33:9 - For he spake, and it was;he commanded, and it stood fast. (Gen, God said, God said around 10 times and it WAS).
Isa 44:24 - Thus saith the LORD, thy redeemer, and he that formed thee from the womb,I am the LORD that maketh all things; that stretcheth forth the heavens alone; that spreadeth abroad the earth by myself;
Look what Jesus has to say --> Matt 19:4 - And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female, Have ye not read --> Gen 1:27 - So God created man in hisown image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
What exactly does it mean that all things were created through him ?
Well,......the above is VERY clear, nothing was literally or physically created through Jesus, so lets us let the Greeks do the talking regarding the overall meanings of the true context this through word is used regarding Jesus's creation involvement. Through = DIA in Greek = through, on account of, because of, by reason of, for the sake of = for all these reasons, for the FUTURE one to be, God and God alone created. After the heavens were made, all we can draw upon from the Hosts of Heaven is, they were pretty much spectators as the Bible does not show any literal involvement of them in creation. When man was made we see, "let us make man in our image" = HOWEVER, the Gen's passage and Jesus's words are very clear, God and God alone made man and in His OWN image.
