Nice. Its not the pilot plant update I was hoping for, but it's something.
Four rigs instead of two, and they're doing both infill and extensional drilling. Four rigs is a lot, especially for a relatively short (<5000m) campaign. Clearly they want it done quickly.
Infill drilling is to improve confidence in the resource, to facilitate determining a reserve later in the year/early next year. A reserve is the part of the resource you're highly confident exists and is economic to mine.
Extensional drilling is following the resource extensions, so has the potential to expand the overall resource. It sounds like there might be some cheap tonnes to add there, so that's good.
And there's a plan for the stockpiles; the fines to be used as commissioning ore for P1, and the rest to potentially be run through the new concentrator when it is built, and shipped off to China. Can't estimate yet what that would be worth, will need to think about it. I don't think it would be very, if at all, profitable at current pricing.
Cheers
