fertilizers potash.phosphorous

Im a Horticulturist and studied Hort Science at UWS. I know the plant uses/requirements of both macro elements. I use, buy and sell fertilizers 6 days a week. What i was wondering though, is how many people posting about fertilizer stocks actually know anything about the elements, uses/requirements by plants themselves. A huge advantage for Potash is that Australia is devoid of it, apart from one location, whereas Australia has plenty of Phosporous reserves poping up everywhere. Potassium is absolutely crucial for crop/fruit production as without the element to induce flowering then many crops and fruits will not be produced. Thoughts please, get out all those old chemistry and botany books.
