I have to agree that there is perhaps some buying of this stock by traders using the momentum of the stock to make small gains. Those that have taken a position for the long term like myself have done the research to back up their optimism in this stock, and are investing for large gains when a small cap spec stock turns producer.

Mantle are at a stage where their market capitalisation could see major revaluing based on positive results on the next stages of their project development, which should happen this year. The two main projects are the coal and phosphate, with uranium and gold resources also contributing to a diverse range of “In High Demand” commodities.

As was mentioned previously, they are currently in negotiations with the native title holders for commencement of drilling for coal and CSM in North Queensland. "Mantle will now proceed to finalise the very positive discussions that have been progressed with the Traditional Custodians. These discussions have now proceeded to the point of exchanging a draft Indigenous Land Use Agreement(ILUA)"

Coal Projects Update

While the initial discussions were undertaken, Mantle decided to purchase the remaining 12.5% stake left in the coal operation. They are continuing to finalise these agreements on the road to production.

In the meantime they have hired a new geologist for the phosphate project with knowledge of the basin. In the Northern Territory's Georgina Basin they are to be undertaking a field study for sampling and for identifying phosphate drill targets in the same basin formation as MAK and POZ.

The Minemakers' (MAK) story should be familiar to all, with its stellar run from 20c to $2.00 in the space of 4 months. More recently a newly listed company Phosphate Australia (POZ) has quadruped its share price from 20c to 80c in the space of a week. This now represents a fully diluted MC of $90 million. MNM has a current fully diluted MC of roughly $40 million.
