Guess we all had our successes and failures.

I was lucky to start with Poseidon after a mate's son who worked as a floor boy in his holidays alerted me to it.

I got in cheap and benefited, knowing nothing about stocks or the market.

After years of carefully investing my assets and plying my trade at the leading edge of publishing, I returned to the stock market as a retirement hobby.

After 15 years of trading now I still feel excited by it but refrain from recommending stocks to anyone.

I did that once with LAF which I recommended to my brother in law, and regretted it ever since. (btw we both lost heavily on LAF).
