QUIKTRAK SIGNS SECOND AGREEMENT IN SOUTH AFRICA
The Board of Directors of QuikTrak Networks Ltd (ASX:QTK) is pleased to announce that it has signed a non-exclusive license and supply agreement with PMB Security, one of KwaZulu-Natal’s premier security providers. Under the terms of the agreement PMB will utilise QTK’s South African direct sequence spread spectrum security telecommunications network to monitor existing and new customers using QTK’s patented spread spectrum technology. This agreement follows confirmation last week that ADT / Tyco is ready to begin commercial operations on the network, and demonstrates the opportunity to partner with other security providers in South Africa. Discussions with other leading security providers continue and QTK expect to sign further agreements to accelerate the growth of its South African operations.
