Tomu, they should be able to mine it, rail it and load it on a boat for around $70US a tonne at the current fuel, tyre, wages etc prices. I'm working on $35 to get it on the train and a guess of $35 to rail it and put it on the boat. I will have to find out for sure what it really does cost for the rail and port side as it has been a few years now since I have heard any figures that I would be prepared to quote and it does vary greatly from mine to mine depending on what sort of deal they managed to strike with Queensland rail. For example I was working in a coal mine in 1996 that reckoned that they were paying $11 a tonne to QR and newer mines (post Joh Bejklie era) were on $5 a tonne. Coal was $26US a tonne then so they sacked the lot of us, 430 in one hit basicly.
