Point taken about the forests, although their adaptation to life on Earth has surely helped us and w/out them we are in many ways worse off. We are burning and clearing our forests and as well as well as that burning the forests of old at the same time by burning coal. There's also some concerns that the ability of the sea to absorb CO2 is reducing as it seems to have limits. We have tipped the equation, afterall oil is made out of plankton that did their jobs millions of years ago to help the climate change to what it is now. I think Governments are have a responsibility to be cautious.
