Well if you look at the prices of aust houses, our level of private debt , one would conclude we are even more capitalistic than the US!
That mentality seems to have caught on here at least in part but the pure "freedom" of there compared to the more socialistic of aust (senate) is keeping aust from going to far one way in general. As scary as the monster USA system which like most western countries is making their rich richer is of course true and the middle classes has gone with only a big gulf now. Any nation that takes over an ocean's island/shoals and doeent play by international rules is concerning and is NOT democratic and do we condone that and be happy making money from our mine in Africa under their influence? See, its a difficult position to defend either way and morals and all that. China and efficiency will be the future and where the US dominated before, the balance is changing but who knows what the future will hold. We assume communism will go on as it has for 4000 years but with their people travelling and learning of "free" people everywhere, will they hang on to power. Perhaps the future is a massive free partnership of the 2 nations ruling the world even partly or on treaty? Anything is possible..
For sundance, i am just happy to get some sort of deal and get this going and hope that all are focused on the company outcome and no political gains even if this has not been hinted at. ANS has many skills to draw apon, so as the original anns said, this deal is better than it appears to be even if "discounted" for quick sale! just recently, right now, if no one else wants it, what choice have we got?
Aust has to trade with China and at the same time condone their activities but NOT too much or no more rev in a time when we are going to need every dollar in the next 5-7 years winding down on zero rates.
Time to light this rocket...
Celebration of 50 years since Armstrong and Aldrin had their approx 2 hours walk on the surface for all (a) mankind 20th july and no one has been back since?? That would have been a great bet to have!
