Perhaps sxp shareholders who are happy with Linc Energy's offer, see now with Linc down they would acquire a larger shareholding in the company, then if they waited for the meeting coming up in regards to the offer. This of course would trigger CGT, so whether it would benefit or not doing it, would be entirely up to an individual's circumstances.

Its all speculation though, in time the real answer to all these questions will surface. In the meantime at least you guys have been locked in during the storm, so not an entirely bad thing.
