What I don't understand is why now. One thing that has given me confidence in Centro is that substantial holders like CBA have not changed there position.

Maybe there has been a recent development, something about the company and its strategic position that we dont know?

Maybe CBA have just realised that their exposure to Centro as both a lender and equity holder is far too high given the deteriorating economic conditions?

I think its probably the latter.
