I disagree with your logic there. The news comes when the news comes. They did release drill results for example, it just didn't move the market.
My question still stands IF news had come (which you definitely cannot say it would not have. SK could have picked up the phone at any time and said lets ink this deal) - would you be here apologising to holders who sold instead of goading those who did not?
