Having been through this process with 2 employees recently i can tell you first hand ... what is on paper is not what you get when people arrive and start doing their job.. what you see and hear in the interview is not what you get when that person arrives and starts doing their job...
both of my employees who came recommended by agencies, i might add, have since been "moved on" .. one in less than 3 months.... the other less than 6!
So the evaluation could have gone perfectly and he said all the right things at the right time to the right people but just turned up and was unable to deliver to the expectations of the BOD...
on the flipside, which also cannot be swept under the rug ....is that he arrived with a false sense of what ADO was/is... he could have been sold a "too good to be true" story to entice him to work for a speccy with bugger all income and checkered past.... and then found the real story was quite the opposite when he arrived in his office ...
WE WILL NEVER KNOW...
