    Hi Chuk,

Unfortunately, all 3 companies I've found so far do not appear to be partners and subsidiaries of PET China. They have their own business name, factories (which are not in Changxing) and independent company history. Most of them are set up in the early 2000s, one claims to have 30+ years in environmental science. I will look deeper into this once in a while when I have the time.

Without going into a big spiel about IP in China (I did mention earlier they are fast learners and no doubt already onto this), I'm not particularly worried just yet. Things work different in China. I don't think these are straight copy cat products, sounds like they are established business with their own direction and distribution. As mentioned previously, it is a good thing as it means there is a real market in China for such products. Even if they were copy cats, Phoslock is not exactly targeting the general consumer. This is a governmental issue. Clearly PET has the network to impress the right folks hence the trials and awards. That's what's more important for now.

Besides, China is only one part of the PET potential.
